Adult Coordinator - Midlothian YMCA

The Midlothian Family YMCA is currently seeking a part‑time positive role model to build relationships and facilitate Aging Well programs and activities. The Active Adult Facilitator will work with the director and their regional coordinator to deliver and track activities. The pay range for this position is $15‑$16 per hour.

• Setup rooms, maintain program paperwork, and purchase supplies.
• Advertise events and programs, maintain program bulletin board, and contribute to association newsletters.
• Attend leadership team meetings or advisory council meetings as needed.
• Assist in the development of the associated budget and manage department expenditures within the allotted budget.
• Deal positively and professionally with program participants and staff.
• Promote, foster, and support the Y’s commitment to access, inclusion, and engagement for all by engaging diverse populations in a welcoming environment.

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and sufficient strength to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to set equipment and the room as needed for related programs.
• At least two years of relevant work experience, preferably with older adults, youth, and families.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
