Accounting Manager, Financial Manager
Schedule: Fully Onsite – 5 Days per Week

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for a growing organization. This role will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative, onsite environment and enjoys partnering with operational teams to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis activities.
- Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
- Mentor, develop, and manage accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate business initiatives, operational efficiencies, and growth opportunities.
- Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing month‑end close and audit processes.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
