PositionSummary
We are looking for a Part‑Time Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic and diverse team of nutrition experts. We are open to candidates with unique specializations in areas such as (but not limited to) pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, gut health, plant‑based eating, chronic disease management, or any other specialty that would bring a fresh perspective to our practice. If you're passionate about using nutrition to improve overall health and have a client‑centered, evidenced‑based approach, we'd love to hear from you!
This position is a 1099 contract role, meaning you will be an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for a variety of health concerns in person at our Midlothian, VA office and/or via our secure telehealth platform.
- Work with clients to develop nutrition strategies that align with their individual goals and values.
- Offer expert guidance on lifestyle changes, sustainable eating habits, and achieving long‑term health and wellness.
- Stay up‑to‑date with current nutrition research and trends to offer evidence‑based advice.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure coordinated care and client success.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with practice standards.
- Strong clinical nutrition knowledge and the ability to provide individualized nutrition counseling
- A passion for using nutrition to support long‑term wellness and health outcomes
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client interaction skills
- Specialization in any unique area of nutrition (e.g., pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, gut health, chronic disease management, eating disorder treatment, etc.)
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Comfort with virtual counseling platforms and flexible scheduling
- Previous counseling experience with diverse populations is a plus
- Flexible part‑time hours with a mix of remote and in‑person sessions
