What You’ll Do
Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients presenting with common illnesses and minor injuries
Perform procedures including laceration repairs, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and splinting
Support patient stabilization and emergency care as needed
Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR system
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
Manage a variable patient volume, seeing 25–50 patients per day depending on clinic needs
What You Need
Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia
BLS certification
Prior experience in urgent care or outpatient clinics
Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and basic emergency procedures
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
About the Assignment
This assignment involves providing urgent outpatient care at a busy clinic in Midlothian, VA, with a focus on delivering high-quality clinical services to a diverse patient population. The facility maintains a collaborative environment aimed at supporting your professional growth and ensuring excellent patient outcomes. The position requires availability to work scheduled 12-hour shifts during clinic hours, with no call responsibilities.
