JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating restoration projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality. The role involves working closely with clients, contractors, insurance adjusters, and team members to ensure effective communication, problem-solving, and timely resolution of any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

This position reports to the Production Manager and will be based in an office in Midlothian, VA and covering a territory within 60 miles of metro Richmond. This Project Manager role includes both the management of the jobs as well as the estimation work and will work with both multi-family residential and commercial projects. Project Managers receive a vehicle, laptop, cell phone and gas card as well as excellent company benefits.

This role offers a base plus commission compensation structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project Planning and Coordination:
    Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the restoration process, including clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and restoration technicians.
  • Damage Assessment:
    Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of the damage and the required restoration procedures. This involves inspecting structural elements, assessing water or fire damage, and identifying potential hazards.
  • Project Estimation:
    Assess the scope of damage in properties affected by disasters. Use knowledge of construction process and workflow to calculate the costs involved in repairs and renovations while considering materials, labor and equipment required to restore property to its former state. Work with insurance adjusters to arrive at an agreed upon scope of work. Produce supplemental estimates and change orders as the project requires.

    Xactimate is the system used.
  • Resource Management:
    Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure that restoration projects are completed on time and within budget. This may involve scheduling subcontractors, ordering supplies, and coordinating equipment rentals.
  • Team Leadership:
