• Provide care and support for parturients before, during, and after delivery.
• Assist physicians during epidurals, pain medication administration, episiotomies, and cesarean preparations.
• Monitor labor by checking contractions, cervical changes, and overall progress.
• Use breathing techniques and other labor support interventions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the birth area and manage patient fluids.
• Aide the physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate newborn care.

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 3 years of acute‑care nursing experience (preferably obstetric).
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM; additional certifications may be required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced environment and ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
