Junior Accountant

True to its heritage though, the company has remained singularly focused on its curated collection of high-style products and unique lighting designs, many of which are produced in-house by the company’s own staff of highly trained artisans.

The Junior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily cash deposits, bank transactions, outgoing payments, and all retail store AR responsibilities.

• Post all daily bank transactions
• Record and reconcile all daily credit card, check, and cash transactions from catalog and retail sales.
• Process daily check deposits.
• Validate, code, and post all outgoing credit card transactions.
• Process outgoing payments - both checks and AMEX OneAP.
• Process 3 rd party decorator commissions.
• Partner with the Customer Support Team to resolve customer chargeback issues.
• Oversee Cert Capture certificate validations
• Send out AR statements for store and manage the collection process.
• Manage vendor set up and maintenance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

• Two to four years of Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Account Payable experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• Microsoft Office
• Prior experience with SAP/SAP Business One preferred
