A leading regional Security Integration firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronic Security Technician to join our growing team in the Richmond, VA area. As an Electronic Security Technician, you’ll be responsible for both service calls and new installations, with a heavy focus on hospital and medical facility accounts. These environments require a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and technical expertise. Most projects are completed in small, collaborative teams, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

• Perform service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems
• Install and configure new security systems in a variety of environments, including healthcare facilities
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and industry regulations, especially in medical settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records

• 2+ years of experience in electronic security systems
• Familiarity with platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, RS2, AMAG, or similar
• Experience working in hospital or medical environments is highly preferred
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive learning mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team settings
• Relevant certifications in Access Control, CCTV, or Intrusion Systems are a plus
• Current DCJS and Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within the Richmond region

• Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $83,000, based on experience and certifications
