The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a part‑time, highly motivated, mission‑driven, team‑oriented professional to serve as our Aquatics Coordinator. We are seeking a Part‑Time Aquatics Coordinator to provide leadership and supervision for aquatic programming and staff, ensuring a high‑quality, safe, and welcoming environment.
This position will be located at the Midlothian Family YMCA.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience in aquatics. Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid are strongly preferred. Must obtain and maintain current aquatic, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to lead, organize, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with PC software applications and scheduling tools. This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
