Threads Uniform Agency might be the place for you! Threads is a client-centric producer of uniforms and has outfitted over one million members of our nation's workforce. Threads is seeking a full-time Order Fulfillment Processer to join our Warehouse Operations team!
The Order Fulfillment Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping items on client's orders routinely throughout their shift. They are responsible for ensuring that each package to ship has the correct number of items, requested garments, and sizes to be shipped accurately and timely. Quality checks and accuracy are crucial in this role to obtain the highest standards of client satisfaction repeatedly.
This role reports to the Order Fulfillment Lead.
Functions:
- Assembles client orders for shipment continuously throughout the day for a multitude of clients;
- Ensures orders picked are accurate in size and style; free of damage and there are no visible defects;
- Corrects and reports any mistakes, errors, or damages prior to packing and shipping orders to client;
- Packs orders in bags or boxes as instructed;
- Maintains and replaces stock levels in picking bins on a regular basis as needed;
- Ensures product in picking bins are in good order, organized, and are identifiable;
- Participates in physical inventories as requested;
- Processes completed orders for shipment by small package carriers and Less-Than-Truckload transportation carriers using a computer with web-based shipping applications;
- Conducts all assignments in a safe manner and actively promotes the safety of co-workers and the warehouse environment (remove boxes on floor from aisles/walk areas, wipe up wet floors and places cautionary wet floor signs, and report anything suspicious or out the norm);
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to be collaborative and work independently;
- Ability to perform with a sense of urgency;
- Ability to multi-task while staying organized, and detailed-oriented;
- Ability to operate bar code scanners, computer for shipping, package scales, pallet jacks, rolling carts etc.;
- Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift daily.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up-to forty pounds at once or lesser amounts more frequently throughout the day
- Basic email and data entry skills required
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be asked to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs. on occasion. This role requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, and sitting.
