Treasury Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Treasury Risk and Financial Risk Management consulting engagements from inception through to implementation.
• Advise clients on treasury governance, liquidity risk, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), funding strategies and hedging solutions.
• Evaluate and enhance treasury operating models, frameworks, policies and risk management processes.
• Manage project planning, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation and successful project delivery.

• BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• CA(SA), CFA or another recognised professional qualification would be advantageous.

• Minimum 7 years' experience within Treasury Risk, Financial Risk Management or Treasury Advisory.
• Strong exposure to Banking, Insurance, Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Demonstrated experience across treasury operations, liquidity management, balance sheet management, ALM, FTP and capital management.

• Strong understanding of Treasury Risk frameworks and financial services regulations.
• Sound knowledge of the Banks Act, FICA, Financial Markets Act and broader regulatory requirements.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
