Product Development Manager

Main Objectives

As a Product Development Manager:
Sugar Confectionery portfolio, you will have a pivotal role in driving the conceptualisation, development, and execution of cost-effective, market-relevant products aligned with international best practices and emerging technologies. You will ensure sustainable growth and profitability in line with our overall business strategy.

Job Objectives:

• Lead New Product Development (NPD):
  Identify and close innovation gaps within the confectionery portfolio through strategic product development initiatives.
• Customer
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers to support collaborative product development efforts.
• Project Management:
  Ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting business objectives within agreed timelines and budget.
• Product Quality & Compliance:
  Deliver high-quality products that meet national standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
• Technical Expertise:
  Provide expert guidance on formulations, processing technologies, and regulatory compliance to support new product initiatives.
• Quality & Food Safety Systems:
  Ensure full adherence to FSSC 22000 (relevant clauses) and ISO 9001 standards through diligent implementation of quality management responsibilities.
• Team Leadership:
  Manage and mentor a small team of technologists, supporting their technical growth and ensuring effective project support.
