COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Office Automation industry is looking for an experienced Sales Specialist to join their team to service the Gauteng area. This position will report to the Direct Sales Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and implementing your sales activities, from lead generation to negotiation and closing, guided by the Companys sales methodology.
  • Prospecting - Identifying and reaching out to potential customers interested in your product or service through cold calling, emailing, social media, referrals, or networking is fundamental.
  • Negotiating - Convincing customers to purchase at favourable prices and terms requires understanding of their budget and needs and offering the best possible solution, along with managing sales documentation.
  • Closing - Successfully concluding sales, overcoming any final objections, securing customer commitment, and ensuring follow-up and after-sales support are key to sealing deals.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Sales related qualification will be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3 + years of proven experience in sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Punctual and well presented
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and hardworking
  • Valid Drivers License + own reliable, well-maintained vehicle
