We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Account Manager to join our Production & Broadcast team. This role focuses on managing and growing relationships within the live production, rental, and broadcast sectors, with a primary emphasis on audio, professional lighting, and LED product sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining key client accounts, and providing technically informed sales support to production and rental companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Looking after an existing customer base of clients
  • Developing and maintaining good relations with this customer base, ensuring good communication and workflow at all times
  • Growing the existing customer base by looking for new customers in both the Production and Broadcast sectors of the market
  • Promoting and selling our products to these customers, ensuring proper demo’s etc are done where necessary
  • Provide consultative sales support based on client project requirements
  • Constantly improving sales through strategizing, building a solid pipeline and maintaining a high level of service
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Coordinate with internal technical and logistics teams
  • Working towards and achieving half yearly targets and KPI’s
Required Skills &

Competencies:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management
  • Strong understanding of the Production / Rental / Broadcast industry
  • Essential:
    Solid technical knowledge of Professional Lighting systems
  • Working knowledge of professional Audio, and/or LED solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation ability
  • Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Grade 12/Matric or equivalent NQF qualification
Ideal Candidate Profile:

A confident sales professional who understands the fast‑paced nature of the production and rental environment. Someone who can comfortably engage with technical buyers, production managers, and rental companies while offering credible product guidance — particularly in professional lighting.
