We are seeking an experienced SADC Country Sales Manager with a proven track record of managing and growing multi-country sales across Southern Africa within the ICT, networking, or technology distribution environment.
Based in South Africa (Midrand) – Regional Travel Required (SADC)
This is a regional leadership sales role, responsible for driving growth across multiple countries through distributor-led channel structures.
Position Overview:
You will take ownership of sales performance across multiple SADC markets, driving revenue growth through distributor management, channel development, and regional commercial
execution. This role requires strong regional awareness, commercial discipline, and the ability to manage complex multi-country structures.
Required qualification and working knowledge:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Electronics, ICT, Networking, or a related technical field.
- 3 – 5 years proven experience in multi-country/ regional sales management (SADC or African markets).
- Strong background in channel/ distributor-led sales environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage country-level distributors and partner networks.
- Experience driving both sell-in and sell-through performance.
- Strong commercial acumen (pricing, margins, trade terms, forecasting).
- Experience with in ICT, networking, telecoms, or technology distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow sales performance across multiple SADC countries.
- Develop and manage relationships with country-level distributors and partners.
- Drive both sell-in and sell-through performance across the region.
- Set and execute country-specific sales strategies in alignment with regional goals.
- Manage pricing structures, margins, and commercial agreements per country.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and sales forecasts.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand regional footprint.
- Coordinate with supply chain and internal teams to ensure stock alignment across borders.
- Conduct regular regional travel to support distributor and partner engagement.
