- Develop, validate, and maintain detailed geological models using advanced software packages.
- Perform comprehensive resource and reserve estimations adhering to industry standards (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101).
- Conduct geological mapping, drill core logging, and sampling programs to gather critical data.
- Collaborate with mine planning engineers to integrate geological models into production schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and reviews for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior geologists and contribute to the team's technical growth and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mineral resource estimation, preferably in base metals or precious metals.
- Proficiency in geological modeling and resource estimation software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Snowden).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, geostatistics, and geological data interpretation.
- Excellent report writing skills and the ability to present complex geological information clearly.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to undertake occasional site visits to mine sites.
