Duties & Responsibilities

Mechanical Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on vehicle, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems function optimally.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine failures, transmission problems, braking system malfunctions, and suspension faults.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults such as wiring, lighting, sensors, battery systems, and control modules.
• Conduct in‑depth preventative maintenance checks to identify and resolve potential failures before they lead to breakdowns.
• Install, calibrate, and test new parts and systems, including braking systems, fuel injection components and exhaust systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, scanning software, and mechanical testing methods to identify faults accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical system failures efficiently, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform detailed root‑cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and develop proactive maintenance strategies.
• Conduct road tests and operational simulations to validate repairs and performance improvements.
• Provide technical feedback and recommendations on design flaws or recurring issues affecting the fleet.
• Assist in emergency roadside repairs and on‑call breakdown support when required.
• Track and request necessary spare parts and tools to ensure uninterrupted maintenance work.
