You will be responsible for the expert installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of industrial pumps.

• Install, commission, and test industrial pumps and associated piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing on various types of industrial pumps (e.g., centrifugal, positive displacement).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to pump performance.
• Execute repairs, including seal replacements, impeller adjustments, and bearing services.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
• Operate relevant machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding pump operation and maintenance.
• Assist in inventory management of pump parts and consumables.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls for urgent repairs in the Midrand area.

• Proven experience as an Industrial Pump Technician or in a similar mechanical fitting role.
• Strong understanding of various industrial pump types, their operation, and maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and hand tools for assembly and repair.
• Knowledge of welding and pipe fitting techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for working with high‑pressure systems and rotating equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various industrial sites.
