Major Purpose
The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays an integral role within the Transactional Accounting group by posting payments to customer accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Responsibilities include accurate processing and monitoring of incoming payments and ensuring payments are properly applied through verifying, posting, and resolving discrepancies of cash receipts.

- Accurately post cash in our ERP system
- Inquire about payments with missing remittance
- Review and research unidentified payments
- Send requests to update the payment method to ACH
- Assist in the monthly revenue accrual and close process
- Monitor and reinforce accounting processes and internal controls
- Research and resolve all unallocated payments within the established benchmarks
- Responsibilities are not all-inclusive and may change based on the needs of the company
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- 2-5 years of Customer Service experience
- Some college preferred – Business, accounting, management, finance, MIS
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, time management, well‑organized with the ability to multi‑task
- Experience in Accounts Receivables and/or Cash Applications
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn and utilize different software platforms
- Assist in the development of efficient processes
- Moderate to intermediate level expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Adobe PDF, or equivalent
- Good communication skills, self‑motivated and proactive, professional demeanor
- This position is primarily in an office setting. Currently on a Hybrid schedule. Three days in office (Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday) and two working remotely (Tuesday & Friday)
