What you'll be doing:
- Work as an integral part of the AR team
- Accurately post cash in our ERP system
- Inquire about payments with missing remittance
- Review and research unidentified payments
- Send requests to update the payment method to ACH
- Process debit/credit memos
- Assist in the monthly revenue accrual and close process
- Monitor and reinforce accounting processes and internal controls
- Research and resolve all unallocated payments within the established benchmarks
- Responsibilities are not all-inclusive and may change based on the needs of the company
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience
- 2-5 years of customer service experience
- Some college preferred – business, accounting, management, finance, MIS
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management, well-organized with the ability to multi-task
- Experience in accounts receivables and/or cash applications
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn and utilize different software platforms
- Assist in the development of efficient processes
- Moderate to intermediate level expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Adobe PDF, or equivalent
- Good communication skills, self-motivated and proactive, professional demeanor
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:
- This position is primarily in an office setting. Currently on a hybrid schedule. Three days in office (Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday) and two working remotely (Tuesday & Friday)
