Role Description
The Plumbing Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Midvale, UT, responsible for overseeing commercial plumbing projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role coordinates project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with codes and company quality standards. Day‑to‑day activities include reviewing drawings and specifications, managing material and equipment orders, directing field crews, and working closely with general contractors, owners, and vendors.
The Plumbing Project Manager monitors job progress, conducts site walks and inspections, resolves technical and logistical issues, and maintains accurate documentation such as RFIs, change orders, and reports. The role also supports estimating, participates in project meetings, and promotes continuous improvement and adherence to All States Mechanical’s safety and performance expectations.
- Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of plumbing construction activities.
- Candidates should possess expediting‑related skills, including expeditor experience for materials, equipment, and subcontractor coordination.
- Candidates should possess inspection‑related skills, including inspection of plumbing installations for quality, safety, and code compliance.
- Candidates should possess logistics‑related skills, including logistics management for deliveries, storage, and sequencing of materials and tools.
- Relevant experience managing commercial plumbing projects, preferably with mechanical contractors or similar construction environments.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with field teams, clients, engineers, and general contractors.
- Proficiency with project management software, MS Office, and basic digital tools for reporting and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems on‑site, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
