- Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors and owners for building control and Mechanical Systems.
- Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Interface with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.
- Provide industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting and building engineering community.
- Direct project financial responsibility is also important in the sales engineering position.
- Our customer base includes but is not limited to data centers, hospital and healthcare facilities, government buildings, school districts, and higher education buildings.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Collaborative communications and interactive skills
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Knowledge of DDC control theory, applications, and mechanical systems
- Degree in Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are most common, but other disciplines are welcomed, too
- Building and/or Mechanical systems experience
- Professional business to business sales experience
- Knowledge of DDC Control Theory & Applications and Mechanical systems
- Additional compensation in the form of commission and car allowance on top of base pay
- This is a full time, exempt position. Typical work days are Monday-Friday
- Local travel required up to 30% of the time with occasional out-of-state travel
- This position requires a combination of working in an office environment and routine visits to project jobsites up to 50% of working hours. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools is included.
