Salary:
Level 7 VWGA $61.40 per hour (including casual loading)

About the Role

Venues West is seeking casual Event Safety Officers to join our Venue Delivery team. Reporting to the Technical Operations Coordinator, the Event Safety Officer will support Venues West to deliver safe events by monitoring, reporting and providing guidance to workers involved in event activities including bump in and out and contributing to safety during an event.

This is a casual position working predominantly at Mount Claremont Perth High Performance Centre with the requirement to work across our other locations including Arena Joondalup, HBF Park, WA Athletics Stadium and Midvale Speed Dome. Hours of work will vary depending on event requirements which will include outside normal work hours, weekends and overnight shifts.

About the Person

The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV (or higher) in Workplace Health and Safety and a WA Construction Industry White Card. Experience in delivering safety services and contemporary understanding of WHS is also a requirement of this role.
