Overview

As the Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to play a significant role over enable

CV’s internal control, policies, and procedures. This position offers a chance to make a substantial impact on our organization’s financial operations. This position will be hands on, while also providing oversight to a team of 3+ team members. This position reports directly to the CFO.

This person will ensure proper application of current accounting standards and uphold the accuracy, quality, and compliance of enable

CV's financial reporting. They will collaborate closely with the leadership team and CFO to offer guidance on various accounting matters. Must be comfortable working in a high growth environment with a hands on, roll up your sleeves, can a do attitude – we only win together!

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to design, implement, and monitor effective internal controls
  • Guide the month end close process, trial balances, journal entries, driving business growth and compliance with corporate financial policies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, and payroll functions
  • Collaborate with broader team for forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members
  • Conceptualize and implement analytics for functional and company-wide efficiency
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Cash forecasting and cash flow management
  • Lead efforts to optimize business processes and systems by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing technology solution options. Subject Matter Expert in financial process and your areas of responsibility. You will define effective and efficient financial process workflow, including process modifications in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Lead annual audit
  • Interface with private equity and financial service providers on key topics
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant helpful, but not required
  • ERP capability and experience is a must
  • Preference given to those with auditing experience and/or corporate accounting experience.
  • Exposure and understanding of startup-like environments
  • Experience integrating with an FP&A team desired

Competitive base salary (starting at $150k base salary) + annual bonus based on company and individual performance
