Zions Bancorporation is one of the nation’s premier financial services companies operating as a collection of great banks under local brands and management teams in high-growth western markets. Zions is regularly recognized by American Banker magazine as having a top banking team in its list of “The Most Powerful Women in Banking.” Our customers consistently vote us as the best bank in our local markets.

We value our employees, and we are committed to search out, recognize and create fulfilling opportunities for outstanding people within our organization, rewarding them for their contributions to our success. We recognize that banking is a “local” business, and that to be successful, we must have very strong ties to the communities we serve and strong relationships with our customers.

With benefits starting on day one, 12 bank holidays, profit sharing and company-matched 401(k) contributions, Zions is dedicated to being an employer of choice in our communities. At Zions, the possibilities are endless. You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity.

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Private Banking Product Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Retail Banking Product team. In this highly visible role, you will oversee the strategy and performance of our Private Banking products. Working closely with enterprise teams, Bancorporation leadership, and divisional partners, you will evaluate, refine, and create solutions that position Zions as a market leader. This position is instrumental in optimizing our product suite to enhance customer experience, drive customer acquisition, and grow bank profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the full product lifecycle and profitability for assigned products within the Private Banking segment (assigned products may include checking, savings, time deposits, consumer lending, investment lines of credit, or sweep accounts). You will partner closely with our digital banking, core banking, private banking, credit, and payments teams to develop and optimize solutions that serve the evolving needs of our Private Banking clients.

  • Act as the business owner for product strategy, conducting in-depth research and profitability analysis to deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Lead cross-functional teams—including IT, Operations, Marketing, Product Implementation, and Compliance—to successfully bring new products, features, and enhancements to market.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, partnering with stakeholders to create compelling marketing campaigns, customer communications, and internal training materials.

  • Proactively manage operational and regulatory risk, ensuring all products meet compliance standards and deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Continuously evaluate product performance and market trends, making data-informed recommendations for modifications to pricing, features, and design to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience. An MBA is a plus.

  • 6+ years of experience in consumer, commercial, or private banking, with a strong preference for direct experience in product management, product analysis, or development.

  • A strategic mindset with exceptional financial and data analysis skills. You are comfortable turning complex data into actionable business strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence. You can build consensus, manage complex projects across multiple departments, and present recommendations to senior leadership with confidence.

  • Deep knowledge of banking procedures, technology systems, and regulations that underpin effective product design and management.

  • Outstanding judgment and communication skills, both verbal and written.
