Community Health Center Retail Pharmacy Technician
The position is full-time. The pharmacy will be located at 72nd Street Pharmacy, 220 West 7200 South, Ste A, Midvale, UT 84047. Pharmacy Hours M-F 8:45am-5:15pm.
Responsibilities:- Maintain professional working relationships at all times, with the pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
- Understand that the requirements of working in a pharmacy are varied and may change as demands on the department change.
- Be available to the customer/patients at all times.
- Maintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with customers.
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities.
- Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Utah (required).
- 2 years or more of retail pharmacy technician‑related experience, preferred.
- 340B experience, preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish, required.
- May require vendor credentialing.
