Position: Retail Pharmacy Technician (Bilingual Spanish)

Community Health Center Retail Pharmacy Technician

The position is full-time. The pharmacy will be located at 72nd Street Pharmacy, 220 West 7200 South, Ste A, Midvale, UT 84047. Pharmacy Hours M-F 8:45am-5:15pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain professional working relationships at all times, with the pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
  • Understand that the requirements of working in a pharmacy are varied and may change as demands on the department change.
  • Be available to the customer/patients at all times.
  • Maintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with customers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities.
  • Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Utah (required).
  • 2 years or more of retail pharmacy technician‑related experience, preferred.
  • 340B experience, preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish, required.
  • May require vendor credentialing.
