With benefits starting on day one, 12 bank holidays, profit sharing and company-matched 401(k) contributions, Zions is dedicated to being an employer of choice in our communities. At Zions, the possibilities are endless. You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity.
Zions Bancorporation is expanding its Enterprise Commercial Product (ECP) team structure to align Payments and Channel capabilities into two focused teams. We are seeking a Mgr. Enterprise Commercial Products who will lead a team through strategy, development, and lifecycle management for next-generation, innovative digital banking and payment capabilities while ensuring compliance, security, and strong customer value.
Core Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of Product Managers/Product Owners accountable for end-to-end product lifecycle management across a portfolio of commercial financial services products.
* Set product vision and strategy; translate customer, market, and competitive insights into roadmaps, release plans, and measurable goals.
* Own product performance, including profitability, pricing, and quality; monitor KPIs and drive actions to achieve growth, retention, and satisfaction targets.
* Partner with Marketing and Sales to position offerings, enable the field, and execute go-to-market plans (including messaging, collateral needs, and launch readiness).
* Coordinate cross-functional execution across Technology, Operations, Risk/Compliance, Legal, and servicing teams to deliver capabilities on time and to standard.
* Engage directly with clients and relationship teams to validate needs, prioritize enhancements, and ensure awareness and adoption of product capabilities.
* Identify and evaluate new product and enhancement opportunities; build business cases and recommendations based on market sizing, risk, and financial impact.
* Oversee delivery governance for the product portfolio, including prioritization, dependency management, and progress reporting across active initiatives.
* Maintain awareness of industry, technology, and regulatory trends impacting commercial banking and payments; incorporate insights into strategy and backlog decisions.
* Manage budget input and financial reporting as needed; ensure appropriate investment decisions and forecast accuracy for product initiatives.
* Hire, coach, and evaluate team members; establish a high-performance culture with clear expectations, training, and ongoing development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
* 8+ years of product management experience, including people leadership (managing Product Managers/Product Owners) and portfolio ownership.
* Deep knowledge of commercial/treasury or payments products, product marketing, pricing, and profitability models.
* Proven ability to set product strategy, define measurable goals/OKRs, and translate customer and market insights into actionable roadmaps.
* Strong cross-functional leadership with experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and Legal.
* Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal), including executive-ready narratives and business cases.
* Demonstrated program/project leadership, budgeting/fiscal management, and the ability to deliver outcomes across multiple initiatives.
* Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management capabilities; ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
* Customer-first mindset with excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
* Comfort operating in complex, highly regulated environments and driving decisions through ambiguity and change.
