Shipping and Receiving Assistant – PC Laptops

PC Laptops is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping Specialist to verify and maintain records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products among other duties.

• Verify all products exiting the cage for shipment.
• Keep the dock and shipping area clean and organized.
• Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.
• Check specifications of materials unloaded against information contained in work orders.
• Follow proper preparation of computers and accessories for shipment to minimize damage during transit.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to follow directions.
• Self-motivated. Must be a self-starter with a "can do" attitude looking to be a team player.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to understand general arithmetic.
• Understand verbal or written instructions; ability to read and understand instructions, lists and billing materials.
• Basic computer hardware knowledge. Use PC based applications, including Outlook, and Microsoft Office, internet and web-based applications.
• Ability to practice safe work habits.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to work full time - schedules may change and vary in hours based upon company needs.

• Starting rate is $13/hr DOE with bonus program (average earnings of $15-16/hr including bonus).

Salary: $13 - $16 per hour.
