West is a leading supplier of personnel to the WA Mining, Engineering and Construction sectors. We are recruiting for suitably experienced Manual CNC Machinist, 2nd Class Welders and Trades Assistants with Oxy Grinding experience to work at one of our established clients in their Midvale workshop.
About the Client
Our client is a market leader in the field of agricultural and farming machinery fabrication. Due to rapid company expansion, our client is seeking to engage the services of a trade qualified Machinist in their Midvale workshop.
We would love to speak with candidates who are experienced Manual CNC Machinist, 2nd Class Welders and Trades Assistants with Oxy Grinding experienced people who are looking for a job to keep them going for the long term.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday and between 8 to 10 hours a day.

Skills and Experience
CNC Machinist:
- Previous experience in a jobbing workshop is an advantage.
- Ability to set up, program operate CNC Siemens machine.
- Experience with using G codes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Strong attention to details.
- Experience with Mitseika 1200A milling machines.
- Solid metal fabrications skills.
- Good MIG welding experience.
- Previous experience within a workshop or engineering environment.
- We are looking for TA's that has used a Oxy Grinder before and happy to assist fabricators. (full training will be provided)
- Have your own transport required.
- Are available immediately.
- Are reliable with a 'can do', safe and a positive outlook.
