We are looking to hire a Custom Fabricator, they are responsible for building, assembling, and finishing high-quality custom cabinetry and related wood products according to design specifications. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely with a variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
Responsibilities- Interpret drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to fabricate custom cabinets and components.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinet parts with precision.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, planers equipment safely and efficiently.
- Select and prepare materials, including wood, laminates, veneers, and hardware.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure all work meets customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other team members, including designers, installers, and shop staff, to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Previous experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or custom furniture fabrication.
- Strong understanding of wood types, joinery methods, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on fabrication experience in cabinetry or woodworking.
- Standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and working with loud machinery.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals associated with woodworking and finishing.
- Must follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment, hardware and fabrication methods - deep knowledge of various commercial woodworking machines and hand tools.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to lift/move up to 100lbs
