Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation and production of compelling photo, video, and mixed‑media content across social media, paid social, display ads, on‑site pages, product launch campaigns, installation videos, and training content.
- Bring a tastemaker's perspective — champion creative excellence and push the work to be scroll‑stopping, share‑worthy, and brand‑right.
- Develop strong narrative arcs and storytelling frameworks that connect consumers emotionally with our products and brands.
- Stay ahead of content trends across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, and emerging platforms — and proactively bring fresh ideas and formats to the team.
- Explore and integrate AI‑powered content tools and technologies to innovate, scale, and elevate our content capabilities.
- Shoot and edit high‑quality photo and video content with a keen eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Build and maintain a roster of on‑screen talent and collaborators to bring productions to life.
- Ensure all content is polished, on‑brand, and optimized for each platform and format.
- Track engagement metrics, views, and performance data on prior work — and use those insights to sharpen future content.
- Regularly review and iterate on content with the Associate Creative Director to continuously raise the creative bar.
- Champion a test‑and‑learn mindset: always experimenting with new hooks, formats, and storytelling techniques.
- Partner closely with digital marketing, brand, and product marketing teams, and channel partners to translate business goals into standout creative.
- Shoot consistently within established brand styles across both ZAGG and mophie brands.
- Work with project managers to meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects with ease.
- 5+ years of experience as a content creator, ideally in‑house at a product or consumer brand.
- Exceptional photo and video production skills — from concept through final edit.
- Deep fluency in social media platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube) and what makes content perform on each.
- Strong command of composition, visual storytelling, hook, setup, and payoff.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:
Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom (After Effects a plus). - A natural curiosity about AI content tools and emerging technologies — you’re already using them.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- A high‑energy, entrepreneurial mindset — self‑directed, proactive, and driven to make great work.
- Portfolio link that showcases content that has made people stop, look twice, and share.
- Experience with paid social and display ad content creation (understanding of CTR, creative testing, etc.).
- Experience producing instructional, training, or product demo video content.
- Background in consumer electronics, mobile accessories, or technology brands.
- Degree in photography, film, fine arts, communications, or a related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience.
