What you’ll do:- Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments
- Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/treatment record
- Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non‑compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification of any adverse reactions
- Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and medication stored properly
- Ensure correct disposal of all sharps
- Enter key information into computer systems including EMR
- Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures
React appropriately to emergency and disaster situations - Other duties as necessary and assigned

- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current, active license as an LPN
- Experience in long‑term geriatric nursing care, preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in the English language
- Must be easily understood through verbal communication in English
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement and weight measurement
- Must have empathy along with exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
- Ability to lift, push, pull 50–100 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure the requirements of this position can be fully met
