Be a part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in a highly automated distribution center pharmacy that supports Kroger store pharmacies. The role includes preparing orders for pharmacist review, packaging, shipping, and inventory control, and may also involve assisting with order shipping. You will demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. This position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and serves Smith’s customers in over 140 stores across Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass mandatory FBI/BCI background checks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment; complete automation canister product replenishments.
  • Unpack and sort incoming deliveries of product.
  • Sort orders and prepare totes for store delivery.
  • Pack individual orders for shipment.
  • Prepare orders for pharmacist review using manual and automated processes.
  • Perform tasks associated with general production.
  • Maintain departmental standards by keeping work stations clean and organized.
  • Follow all policies and procedures developed to ensure patient safety and security.
  • Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and company policies regarding the same.
  • Support company Health and Wellness initiatives.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
