Urgently hiring immediately. We are looking for Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) team members to lead the way today and step into greater roles tomorrow. Responsibilities

This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and negotiating mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and interacting in person and on the phone
  • Process sales, loans, and extensions
  • Perform opening and closing store duties
Career Path

Start as a Trainee in the paid 5‑week training program, earn a $0.50 raise, and receive promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Continue growth through the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hr, and promote to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader). Apply for Assistant Manager after a 6‑month training program to build the foundation to run your own store.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug test (after conditional offer)
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics (a plus)
  • Sales background (a plus)
  • Bilingual (a plus)
