Assist management with store operations in designated department (grocery or freight) and lead by example;
Provide fast, friendly customer service and handle customer questions/complaints;
Perform duties of grocery clerk, cashier, and/or freight stocker and assist assigned employees, including notifying breaks/lunches;
Monitor customer traffic flow and checkout lane coverage; maintain cleanliness and safety in work area;
Provide direction/leadership to clerks and assist with cashier/money handling procedures as needed
