This is a part time position that will be required to work flexible shifts between 9:30am and 9:30pm Monday - Saturday.

This includes scratch and dent, overstock, customer returns, and salvage consumer products. Job DescriptionThe Cashier Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and supervising cashier employees, opening and closing the store, receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.
What You Will Do- Be the “go to” person for cashier inquiries and mediate when necessary.
- Process customer returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to returns and exchanges.
- Maintain accurate records of all returns and exchanges.
- Monitor the sales floor.
- Converse with customers and provide service.
- Monitor the store for potential theft, including observing customers and reviewing security footage.
- Train other employees on theft prevention and returns processes.
- Open and close the store.
- Track and balance all cash and credit transactions within the respective cash register.
- Interact with customers to understand needs or answer any questions.
- Receive payments from customers and issue receipts.
- Count money.
- Operate cash register.
- Use computer to work.
- Answer customer questions.
- All other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic computer knowledge and math skills.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Proven history of honesty and integrity.
Ability to work independently with little instruction.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives.
Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with timeliness and responsiveness.
Demonstrate high level of diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion when dealing with customers and other department staff.
