Relationship Development Officer
The role focuses on cultivating relationships with businesses to bring employees and business accounts to the credit union. The officer works closely with branches and independently develops their own leads, meeting monthly goals for new member acquisition.

The primary function of the officer is outside sales, cultivating relationships with businesses and their employees. They are accountable to meet or exceed monthly member acquisition goals and maintain strong relationships with members and employees.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Bring new members by meeting with businesses and introducing credit union products and services to both the business and its employees. Work closely with branch managers to develop new client relationships.
- Advocate and execute networking activities for new member acquisition and maintenance of current relationships, increasing the credit union’s image and visibility.
- Maintain a complete database of assigned accounts and viable prospects under the assigned goals, submitting activity and results reports to management.
- Help resolve questions, requests, complaints, and problems from business members and credit union employees.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Two or more years of relationship development or sales experience, with a history of high sales goals met consistently. Ability to navigate Excel.
EducationHigh school or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
Interpersonal SkillsHigh level of trust and diplomacy, courtesy, tact, and communication skills. The role involves extensive personal contact and requires the ability to influence and sell ideas or services.
Other SkillsAbility to work independently with limited supervision. Physical requirement: lifting up to 25 pounds. Must have a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel for credit union business.
