Student Success Coach, Alpha

Alpha operates differently. Academic content is delivered through software. Students progress through subjects using adaptive applications tailored to their individual pace. There are no lectures, no homework assignments, no papers to grade. This structure allows you to focus entirely on what transforms lives: facilitating life skills workshops where high schoolers develop public speaking ability, learn concentration techniques, and practice giving and receiving constructive feedback—then coaching them individually to maintain motivation and achieve their learning targets.

You will spend half your time facilitating group sessions and the other half involving one‑on‑one conversations, using Coachbot analytics to pinpoint exactly where a student is struggling and why.

• Facilitating one‑hour life skills workshops for high school students covering subjects such as public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange, followed by evaluating mastery via a structured Test2
  
  Pass assessment.
• Conducting daily individual motivation sessions that leverage Coachbot analytics to engage with students one‑on‑one, diagnose obstacles in their learning app progression, and help them overcome resistance.
• Co‑creating personalized motivational frameworks with students, incorporating rewards and incentives that promote self‑directed advancement through academic applications.
• Preparing by reviewing curriculum and lesson materials prior to each session, then modifying your approach based on real‑time assessment of the group dynamic.

• Delivering instruction in academic subjects. All math, reading, and subject‑area content is managed by software.
• Overseeing school operations or supervising staff. There are no budget responsibilities, hiring decisions, or operational planning meetings; your attention remains exclusively on your student cohort.
• Enforcing discipline through conventional authority structures. No detention assignments, no suspensions, and no “because I said so.” You rely on reasoning and positive reinforcement to cultivate a respectful, energized learning environment.

Develop a cohort of high school students who are enthusiastic about school, achieve learning velocity 2x above traditional rates through adaptive software, and demonstrate mastery of practical life skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3+ years of direct experience working with high school students (ages 13‑18).
• Willing to work on‑site in Oklahoma City, OK (relocation support provided).
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

• Experience as a sports coach, camp counselor, or youth program coordinator who has inspired teenagers in non‑classroom settings.
• Demonstrated history of guiding groups to achieve quantifiable outcomes (completion metrics, performance standards, behavioral improvement).
• Familiarity with adaptive learning systems or educational technology platforms.
• Narrative skills that capture and maintain the attention of teenage audiences, communicated with cultural sensitivity and authenticity.

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) long‑term position with compensation of $50 USD/hour, equating to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
