Job Summary
Position: Maintenance Training Manager 2 – Flight Operations
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Relocation Assistance: Available
Clearance Required: Yes (Secret)
Travel: 25% of the time
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a team of Maintenance Trainers responsible for tracking and instructing a training pipeline.
- Design and deliver programs to train all levels of personnel.
- Develop tests and visual aids, conduct training classes, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- Evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
- Develop e‑learning programs.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or a High school diploma/GED with 9 years of experience.
- Experience in training and/or maintenance.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with courseware sustainment.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Must be able to travel to various locations for initial training for a minimum of 24 weeks prior to relocating to the permanent location.
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
- Experience working in a USAF or Equivalent Mx Training Flight or Field training detachment.
- Basic Instructor Course or international instructor certification.
- Experience with training content development principles: ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate).
