- Support depot-level maintenance, overhaul, repair, and remanufacture for F117, F119, and F135 engines with initial focus on F135.
- Interpret and develop manufacturing blueprints to support depot workflows.
- Define and improve component repair strategies and technical dispositions.
- Review, interpret, and analyze technical data related to engine performance and durability.
- Coordinate with Fleet Management, Quality, Logistics, CIPTs, and Program Office teams.
- Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Develop standard work, process documentation, and supporting databases.
- Provide technical support for hardware field issues, including root‑cause analysis.
- Participate in cross‑functional communication and deliver technical presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of aviation/jet engine experience in lieu of a degree.
- Understanding of jet engine hardware performance and life‑cycle durability concepts.
- 2+ years of depot maintenance and MRO concepts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance required.
- Experience resolving technical issues in an engineering or maintenance environment.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, Webtop, SAP, or other engineering tools.
- Knowledge of gas turbine operation, value‑stream mapping, root‑cause analysis, and mistake‑proofing.
- Prior experience with military jet engine logistics, repair, or A&P certification.
Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Annual incentive compensation programs may be available.
