Administrative Nurse - Reception and Treatment Center

Job Overview

Administrative Nurse – Reception and Treatment Center – Lincoln, NE (Agency 46). Hiring rate: $40.796 per hour. Additional $3/hour facility differential for hours worked. Wage commensurate with experience.

• Supervise nursing and direct care staff in the delivery of nursing services within the facility.
• Consult with clinical staff to coordinate individual inmate patient care and treatment plans.
• Resolve conflicts between patients and employees, and address personnel‑related problems.
• Maintain current Nebraska RN licensure and complete annual training to ensure competency.
• Administer nursing service activities and perform nursing tasks in emergencies.
• Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate nursing service employees.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority under the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
• One year of relevant experience.

• Experience assigning, reviewing, leading, or supervising work of others.

Additional requirements:

must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance; must pass security background check, pre‑employment medical exam, drug test; successful completion of the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Pre‑service Training Program required.
