Golf Groundskeeper

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for a Groundskeeper in the Golf Department
. The incumbent maintains properties at Midwest City's golf courses, including golf course and practice areas, maintenance facility and equipment, and clubhouse grounds and landscaping. Participates in all maintenance and project work consistent with the City's long-range goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience of at least two years working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways, greens, and seeding and maintenance practice for golf course turf.
• Possession of an Oklahoma Certified Applicator Certificate for pesticide and herbicide preferred; the certificate must be obtained within six months.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Position is safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol screening.
