Position Overview The Youth Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the vision, design, and service delivery of youth programs. This role involves developing policies, coordinating resources, and overseeing the growth and compliance of youth services to ensure effective program implementation and support.
Position Essential Functions Set the strategic vision for youth programs, bring together partners, and oversee program design and service delivery.
Create and implement policies for youth programs, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and benefit all youth.
Leverage and coordinate resources among schools, public programs, and community-based organizations.
Manage program growth, provide technical assistance on policies and procedures, and support case management tasks (e.g., eligibility documentation, case notes, assessments).Ensure compliance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other regulations. Research and interpret federal/state laws and communicate policy recommendations.
Provide internal and external technical support, facilitate work groups, and serve as a liaison for WIOA Youth Program rules and regulations.
Assist with special projects, including research, grant reviews, monitoring, and governance document reviews.
Perform file reviews and oversight to ensure adherence to policies and performance targets.
Facilitate and lead work groups and meetings.
Offer technical assistance and serve as a liaison with internal and external partners.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands/Work Environment Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employees are required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires regular periods of sitting or standing and daily use of computers and phones. It also requires the occasional use of office machinery in accordance with safety and security protocols.
