Overview
Equipment Operator I performs street and public property maintenance for the City of Midwest City, operating equipment such as trucks, tractors and mowers, and using a variety of power and hand tools in maintaining city streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers and other public property.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment such as trucks, tractors and mowers and use a variety of power and hand tools in maintaining City streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers and other public property.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be insurable.
- OK Commercial Class "B" with Air Brakes.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Safety/security sensitive position; subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field work routines.
Starting Salary Range: $19.1080-$19.6621 per hour, with benefits.
