Equipment Operator I – Street Department

Annual responsibilities include operating equipment such as trucks, tractors, and mowers and using a variety of power and hand tools to maintain city streets, culverts, right‑of‑way, storm sewers, and other public property.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field work routines.
- Previous experience with street and mowing equipment, including tractor, mower, and backhoe, is desired.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and insurability.
- Oklahoma Commercial Class “B” with Air Brakes.
- Minimum age 18 years.
Security screening is required (pre‑employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol screening).
Starting salary range: $19.1080–$19.6621 HR. Benefits included.
