Receiving Material Tech – Part Time

Freudenberg‑NOK General Partnership (FNGP) in Plymouth, MI, requires a part‑time Receiving Material Technician to support material handling operations.

• Reads packing slips and/or follows oral and written instructions to ascertain the materials or containers to be moved or loaded.
• Loads and unloads materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using FIFO methods.
• Performs daily computer transactions for receivers and stock transfers.
• Coordinates activities with other FNGP personnel.
• Completes Forklift Operator’s Daily Checklist.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Understanding of FIFO and stock location integrity.
• Ability to read shipping instructions and production orders and to accurately use weigh‑counting scales, label printers, and miscellaneous clerical supplies.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.
• Communicates clearly and concisely, engaging proactively with colleagues.
