Quarry Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift

River Stone Group, Inc. is a leading producer of construction aggregates in the Midwest, and we are looking for the right individual to fill an opening for a 2nd shift Quarry Maintenance position at our Allied plant in Milan, IL. The schedule is 5 to 6 days per week (seasonal). Current daily start time is 3:30 pm. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed.

• Assisting crew in all aspects of quarry operation as assigned
• Operating and maintaining heavy machinery
• Maintaining and repairing all equipment
• Following all company policies and adhering to governmental regulations
• Welding, repair, and fabrication on rock crushing equipment associated with a quarry operation

• High school diploma or GED
• Focus on safety and a strong work ethic
• Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment
• Background in quarry operations is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred
• Valid driver s license

Candidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions.

• Starting wage of $34 per hour (rate depends on qualifications and prior experience)
