Production Line Assembly- Part time Responsibilities
- Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts at a station or when roving the line.
- Performs visual verification of parts and stocks of assigned part bins.
- Adheres to all company policies, safety standards, single point lessons and standard work in assembly.
- Places appropriate parts and quantities on the chip boards with high attention to accuracy.
- Notifies the assembler roving parts or the Lead when parts need replenished.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area using the company's 5S model.
- Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
- Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
- Maintains dexterity to handle various shapes and sizes of parts and tools necessary to perform job responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform basic math and counting skills.
