Compensation and Benefits- Hourly Maintenance: $25.70/hr – $33.50/hr

- Ensure all assigned daily PMs are completed.
- Maintain production lines in good mechanical order.
- Aid other teams (Production, Quality) when needed.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety practices.
- Set up, visually inspect, and test machinery and equipment.
- Detect and diagnose machine malfunctions through listening for unusual sounds and speaking with supervisors.
- Dismantle defective machine parts and install new or repaired components.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
- Follow all ISO 14001 procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience and/or training in an industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; or 4 years’ direct experience in such an environment.
- Vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors.
- Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
The plant environment includes wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise levels are moderate but can be loud in the production area. The job requires occasionally lifting or moving up to 75 pounds and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds using a buddy system or designed lifting devices.
Vision requirements include close and distance vision. Employees frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
