Compensation$94,000 - $105,000 / Year, based on experience and qualifications

As DON, you will provide leadership and direction for the nursing department while ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.
Key responsibilities- Lead, support, and develop the facility's nursing team
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and nursing services
- Promote strong clinical practices and positive resident outcomes
- Maintain appropriate nursing staffing and department organization
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain nursing staff
- Monitor clinical documentation and standards of care
- Work closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Address clinical concerns involving residents, families, and staff
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Previous nursing leadership experience required
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to coach, develop, and hold nursing teams accountable
- Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
